08/23/2011 - update to eDive - version 2.9.3 released
An update to eDive has been released. You can visit our
downloads
page to get the latest version. Some of the changes include;
- updated the judging panel screen. The whole process of creating a judging panel has been made easier and less restrictive. The
panel selection/definition is still on the run event screen where it always has been. Now you can enter as much or as little
information as you need. You can specify who the head referee is, who the balk judge is and define a separate head ref (one
who does not throw scores). You can now also define the area/region where the judge is from to make sure you have the
representation on the panel that you need.
- the judging analysis will now pull in any judging panels you have defined for the event you are analyzing.
- The combine events screen has been updated to provide more explanatory information about what it does.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are currently running version 2.7.x or earlier then you must
follow the directions here in order to install/use the latest version of the program.
07/11/2011 - update to eDive - version 2.9.2 released
An update to eDive has been released. You can visit our
downloads
page to get the latest version. Some of the changes include;
- when you're running an event and a diver fails 2 dives. You will get automatically prompted to cut the diver. This now
happens only when the 2nd failed dive is hit.
- The labels report has been updated. YOu can now choose to include Cut and Exhibition divers. Exhibition divers will
show "EXHIBITION" instead of a place/ranking on the label.
- The dive sheets report now shows the word "EXHIBITION" when the diver is flagged as exhibition.
- When transferring divers from an old scored event to a new event there was a regression issue with the code and older
code was released in one of the previous releases. This has been corrected. This issue addresses: Cut and Exhibition divers
team points will be zeroed out when scoring an event.
- When running an event with divers who are registered but have not had a dive sheet entered yet, you will receive a new
prompt. If you continue to run the event then those divers will be unregistered and the diving order for that event
will be resequenced so that the order is sequential. Please be aware that if you also have uploaded your event to an
electronic timing system then you may need to re-upload your event to the timer because the diving order will have changed.
- minor changes to the USD future champions rules.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are currently running version 2.7.x or earlier then you must
follow the directions here in order to install/use the latest version of the program.

An update to eDive has been released. You can visit our
downloads
page to get the latest version. Some of the new features include;
- The diving sheet reports have been updated. You can now print the 1 meter diving
table on your dive sheets. Please note that including the 1 meter diving table limits
how many rounds of dives can be included on the sheet. For an NFHS, AAU, USD and
FINA formatted dive sheet you can fit up to 8 rounds of dives. For an NCAA formatted
dive sheet you can fit up to 6 rounds.
- If you include the divers age on a dive sheet, that divers age will be calculated
using the date of birth for that diver. If no date of birth is specified then the
value you entered for the divers age will be used instead. If neither is specified
then no age will be shown.
- When printing dive sheets without the 1 meter diving table included, you will get
a 1.5" margin on the top of each page.

In the last hotfix two of the report files were installed to the wrong directory. To correct the problem the file "ResultsOfficial.rpt" and the file "ResultsUnofficial.rpt" need to be moved from "C:\Program Files\eDive" to the directory "C:\Program Files\eDive\Reports". This will update your unofficial and official results reports. When you move the files you may be prompted to overwrite existing files. Please select YES to that prompt. If you have any difficulties please contact technical support and we can walk you through the process. The current hotfix download has this issue corrected.

- We just ran the US Diving 2004 East Junior Nationals in Buffalo, New York using eDive. It was a great meet with some outstanding diving. Three 10's were given out on 3 different dives !! It was pretty awesome !! The meet ran exceptionally well and we finished ahead of schedule (about 45 minutes on average) on every event for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We would have finished early on Sunday as well but the power went out in the pool and we had to wait for it to come back on. Even with the power outage and starting 30 minutes late, we finished only 15 minutes over the scheduled end time. The results for the meet are available here. Congratulations to Team Orlando and a big thank you to Wings Diving for hosting the meet.
